Job Description

The Batture is hiring friendly, reliable part time Operations Staff to do groundskeeping, maintenance, cleaning, and to help keep our space running smoothly.  This is a dynamic role perfect for somebody who enjoys spending time outside, has weekend availability, and is physically active. 


About Us

The Batture is a riverfront food truck park and venue owned and in active development by ben + burka, a New Orleans based brokerage and commercial real estate company. Opened in March of 2025, the Batture has become a popular destination for locals, featuring some of New Orleans’ best vendors and hosting a variety of special events. At the Batture, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside an exciting development team and do hands-on work as we grow and expand our footprint. 


Responsibilities

  • Executing standard operating procedures 
  • Restroom cleaning and restocking supplies
  • Trash removal and site cleanup
  • Managing and maintaining on-site equipment
  • Setting up umbrellas, picnic tables, chairs, and other site amenities
  • Hauling or moving materials and equipment 
  • Providing friendly assistance to guests
  • Supporting private events as needed
  • Troubleshooting minor electrical, construction, or maintenance issues
  • Helping ensure guest and site safety

Qualifications

  • Able to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Positive, friendly attitude; comfortable interacting with guests
  • Experience with basic tools, repairs, or maintenance is a strong plus
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
