Qualifications

• Proficient with commercial grade power tools and machinery: Planar, Jointer, Shaper, Lathe, Table & Chop Saw
• Skilled in joinery, cabinet and furniture making
• Ability to reproduce historic trim, windows and doors as well as fabricate cabinet boxes & drawers.  Install hinges, drawer slides, door knobs, deadbolts, & mortise locks.
• Ability & patience to work with antique salvaged wood
• Must work efficiently, adhere to deadlines and communicate with supervisors
• Physically able to lift, carry, move, and hold large pieces of wood and machinery for extended periods of time (50lbs).
• Positive attitude
• Must be able to pass drug test
• The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel; and reach with arms; talk and hear;  climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Finishing historical wood restoration components
• Cleaning and organizing the shop and/or worksite
• Assisting experienced millworkers and carpenters
• Unload and load materials
• Assist on site installations

Job Type: Part- Time and/or Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour Pay is commiserate with skill level 

Schedule:  8 hour shift  / Monday - Friday

License/Certification:  Driver's License (Required)
