Key Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for corporate and property-level employees across multiple hotel brands and locations
  • Ensure accurate entry, validation, and auditing of payroll data including hours worked, PTO, bonuses, commissions, and adjustments
  • Review and resolve payroll discrepancies, retro pay, and off-cycle payrolls as needed
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
  • Support payroll tax filings, garnishments, and deductions in coordination with third-party vendors
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing timely and professional support
  • Partner with HR and Finance to ensure employee data (new hires, terminations, pay changes) is accurate and up to date in Workday
  • Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audit requests
  • Maintain payroll documentation and ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in hospitality or a multi-unit environment
  • Working knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour compliance, and payroll best practices
  • Experience with Workday Payroll strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools
