Job Description

The Department Chair for HVAC/R and Electrical Technology leads, oversees, and supports instructional faculty across multiple campuses.

This position ensures:

  • High-quality instruction.
  • Compliance with program accreditation and certification requirements.
  • Alignment with industry standards, including HVAC Excellence accreditation and NC3 curriculum and certification implementation for Electrical Technology.

The Department Chair is responsible for:

  • Curriculum development.
  • Instructional quality.
  • Supervision of faculty.
  • Maintenance of industry accreditation.
  • Coordinating administrative tasks ensuring programs operate efficiently and effectively.

All learning experiences and instructional methods must support student success, industry readiness, and the objectives of HVAC/R and Electrical Technology programs.
