Job Description
The Department Chair for HVAC/R and Electrical Technology leads, oversees, and supports instructional faculty across multiple campuses.
This position ensures:
- High-quality instruction.
- Compliance with program accreditation and certification requirements.
- Alignment with industry standards, including HVAC Excellence accreditation and NC3 curriculum and certification implementation for Electrical Technology.
The Department Chair is responsible for:
- Curriculum development.
- Instructional quality.
- Supervision of faculty.
- Maintenance of industry accreditation.
- Coordinating administrative tasks ensuring programs operate efficiently and effectively.
All learning experiences and instructional methods must support student success, industry readiness, and the objectives of HVAC/R and Electrical Technology programs.
