Job Description
Job Summary/Purpose
Performs all types of meter service functions that include: electric turn on, turn off, removal, exchanges, rereads reconnects and tampering.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for working single phase & three phase meters on residential and commercial accounts.
- Performs disconnects on residential and commercial accounts due to non-payment of bill.
- Installs and removes different types of locks for tampering prevention.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned.
- Attends and participates in monthly safety meetings.
- Must render excellent customer service in a professional manner while handling customers in the field.
- Assists in storm restoration efforts as needed.
- Completes daily work tickets through the Mobile Data system.
- Knows and practices Entergy's applicable safety rules and safe work procedures at all times.
