Job Description
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
This position is responsible for providing assistance to and supporting Power Generations - Project and/or Construction Management preferred.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop elements of design change packages with supervisory oversight
- Perform engineering calculations within established standards and procedures
- Perform evaluations of fuel cycle design
- Investigate corrective actions for operating problems
- Perform calculations on plant capability and efficiency improvement
- Testing instrumentation/equipment malfunction
- Evaluate plant equipment responses to transients
- Determine appropriate materials for specific applications
- Establish standard designs, drawings, reference files and/or cost data
- Conduct transient and dynamic stability studies
- Prepare engineering specifications for purchases
- Monitor plant system performance and provide support of operations and maintenance activities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position Pursuing a BS in Construction Management or Project Management from an accredited University/College.
Minimum experience required of the position None
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position Computer skills: familiar with various databases, as well as Windows environment and Microsoft toolkit (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
