Job Description
Summary
The Loan Verifier plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation prior to finalization. This position safeguards compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, supporting a seamless loan closing process and exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Loan Package Review: Examine loan packages for completeness and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Pre-Closing Updates: Make necessary adjustments to loan packages after initial release to ensure accuracy before closing.
- Adverse Action Notices: Prepare and process adverse action notices in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Service Level Adherence: Meet established service level agreements and timelines as directed by the Loan Operations Manager.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
