Job Description
The Assistant Dean for Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for all financial affairs and financial data reporting and financial analytics for the A.B. Freeman School of Business. The Assistant Dean is responsible for developing the School’s annual budget, monthly financial reconciliations, and providing financial and budgetary projections and guidance to the Dean, Chief Business Officer, and members of the Dean’s leadership team. In addition, the Assistant Dean acts as the School’s primary financial data officer, supporting and coordinating with other units on the School’s responses to the surveys and reports related to financial reporting. The Assistant Dean will also provide data analyses as requested by the dean and leadership team.
Minimum Education
- Masters of Business Administration or CPA Certification plus five (5) years of relevant work experience
Or
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics or relevant field and seven (7) years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial operations of an institution for higher education
