About LOOP NOLA

Map Pin IconOrleans ParishCompany Profile

LOOP NOLA is a nonprofit organization with the mission to provide positive, life-changing outdoor experiences to children and youth in Greater New Orleans.

LOOP NOLA was founded to address the lack of opportunity for urban youth to experience the physical and mental health benefits of the outdoors and to develop a personal connection with natural spaces. By experiencing outdoor activities in a safe and supportive environment, young people learn to push past perceived limitations and gain the confidence to reach for their lifelong goals. Through our outdoor adventure programs, LOOP NOLA is committed to inspiring New Orleans youth to create a new vision for their lives and actively pursue it.

Our activities include:

  • High and low ropes challenges
  • Team building
  • Canoeing and kayaking
  • Fishing
  • Survival skills
  • Camping
  • Hiking
  • STEM-based wetlands ecology programs

We provide comprehensive, year-round program opportunities to produce profound impact with measurable results in the areas of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), improved physical health and environmental awareness, increased academic achievement, and career development.

We offer school-based field trip experiences during traditional school hours, after-school and weekend programs, summer camp programs, an internship program for public high school teens, and adult team building programs. During the '25-'26 school year, we plan to serve over 3,000 young people through our outdoor adventure programs.

Please reach out for more information or to schedule a program.
