Job Description
The Lab Research Technician conducts research aimed at understanding the atmospheric chemistry impact of space exploration activities. This position conducts research work including developing model code to simulate and project the emissions of aerosols associated with these activities, their transport and transformation in the whole atmosphere, and their cascading effect on atmospheric chemistry and radiative transfer. This position contributes to data analysis and organization. This position may also aid in paper and proposal preparation.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s Degree with one year of directly related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or interest in learning and use CESM-CAM-WACCM model
