We investigate the molecular mechanisms of sex steroids and their roles in metabolism using transgenic and knockout mouse models and human samples. We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Supervisor to oversee, coordinate, and train laboratory staff in support of the research program led by Principal Investigator Dr. Franck Mauvais-Jarvis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the execution of experimental assays
• Ensuring accurate documentation, data analysis, and preparation of charts and reports
• Maintaining inventories of reagents, supplies, samples, and equipment
• Preparing and managing regulatory documents (IACUC, OSHA, Tulane OEHS, and shipping) to ensure full compliance
• Providing comprehensive oversight of daily laboratory operations and maintenance.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in biological science and three years of experience in a biomedical research facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S. Degree in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a biomedical research facility.
