POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a dedicated Naval Architect with a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in new vessel design development. The candidate will provide functional design expertise for various new construction programs for Government, Unmanned, and Commercial customers. The role includes contributing to proposal writing efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in new vessel design development for marine crafts such as patrol vessels, windfarm support vessels, offshore supply vessels, tugs, and barges
• Proficiency in structural design and stability analysis
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with FEA, GHS, and Rhino software
• Familiarity with auxiliary systems design is desirable
• Familiarity with ABS, CFR, USCG, SOLAS, IMO, and other applicable regulations
• Proposal writing experience is a benefit

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide functional design expertise for various new construction programs
