Opportunity Available: Experienced Pile Driver

This position requires adherence to all Boh Bros. safety protocols and being drug-free. Consistent and reliable transportation to and from the job site is mandatory.

Job Site Location: Cameron Parish at the Ventura CP2 job.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Working in conjunction with heavy equipment to drive various types of piling, including:
• • Wood timber piles
  • Steel sheet piles
  • Concrete piles
  • Steel pipe piles
  • Steel H piles
  • Composite wood / concrete piles
• Housekeeping at the job site.
• Checking safety protocols.
• Beginning of shift set-up and end of shift clean-up.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in a team setting with other craft workers engaged in heavy construction activities.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions (cold, heat, humidity) and at heights, in excavations, and over water.
• Able to work at various job sites and locations assigned.
• Able to read a tape measure and understand directions.
• May be exposed to hazards associated with but not limited to dust, odors, fumes, noise, and vibration hazards.
• Able to work with various types of hand tools such as drills, power saws, demolition equipment, welding machines, and other small pieces of equipment (preferred).
• Previous experience in the construction field, working outdoors in extreme weather conditions, understanding directions, working at heights, in excavations, and over water, performing simple mathematical equations, and reading a tape measure is required.
• Must be devoted and reliable.
• Some knowledge of rigging and crane signaling is required.
• Some welding certifications apply.
• Current TWIC preferred.

Compensation & Union Status: Boh Bros. is a union contractor. All wages and benefits are determined by the union agreement. All new hires will be paid 90% of the journeyman scale for the first 300 hours of employment.
