Job Description

Job Title: Sr Proj Mgr, Fleet Turbine Svc Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Services, Inc.-ESI (OLD)

*This position can be based at any of the Nuclear sites; Waterford 3, Grand Gulf, Riverbend, Arkanasas Nuclear or Echelon*

Job Summary/Purpose Responsible for Implementing fleet processes, practices and procedures to ensure standardized best practices in turbine generator maintenance and overhaul, including standards for in-house Entergy vs. contract task allocation. Directly supervise all preparation and execution activities for turbine generator work scopes at all Entergy nuclear locations.

  • Job Duties/Responsibilities
    • Contract Manager for Turbine Outage Service Contract.
    • Perform Turbine Outage Service project cost and cash flow forecast.
    • Review and evaluate Turbine Outage Service performance of the project staff and contractors. Recommend necessary Turbine Outage Service project training as required.
    • Perform field observations of personnel to reinforce standards and expectations and identify gaps in performance.
    • Work with management to identify and address performance deficiencies.
    • Recommend and implement actions to improve gaps to operational excellence.
    • Oversee Turbine Outage Service procedures and documentation which govern and control project activities.
    • Interface with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of Turbine Outage Service project activities.
    • Communicate Turbine Outage Service technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.

Minimum Requirements Minimum education required of the position

  • BS Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations or Equivalent Experience. (Equivalent Experience is defined as 5 years of experience in a responsible managerial position in an operating nuclear power

Minimum experience required of the position

  • 10+ years of experience in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, operations, radiation protection, chemistry, production, or 5+ years of experience directly related to steam turbine engineering or maintenance.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

  • Technical proficiency in Turbine Maintenance.
  • Technical proficiency in outage planning and scheduling.
  • Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.
