Job Description
The Admissions and Student Affairs Manager for the School of Medicine Biomedical Sciences Graduate (BMS) Program is the lead person responsible for annual Recruitment coordination and Admissions processes. They will lead the team in organizing a large annual event (e.g., orientation, graduation, retreat) coordination. The Manager will have primary management responsibilities for the Admissions portal website (currently Slate.) They will work with all students to address issues and ensure a quality educational environment for learning. The Admissions and Student Affairs Manager will closely collaborate with the BMS Directors and staff for cross coverage for all duties as needed in this highly team-based program office.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related work experience OR
- Master’s degree and 3 years of related work experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- A PhD in a STEM field
- Experience in a school of medicine admissions/recruiting position.
