*The selected candidate must meet access authorization and fitness for duty requirements of a nuclear power station.*

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Entergy's Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Station is seeking a successful college student to join the Chemistry Department for a Summer 2026 Internship.

JOB DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES Includes, but is not limited to:

  • Support Environmental Monitoring Program with EPA Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and Pollution Discharge Elimination Systems Programs Support Site
  • Chemistry Specialists with pre-refueling outage preparations
  • Support Chemistry Lab with basic analyses and preparation of standards
  • Support Chemistry department with miscellaneous tasks

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum education required of the position

  • Seeking candidates who are actively pursuing an undergrad or master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related technical degree.
  • Preferred: Rising juniors and seniors effective June 1, 2026.
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale).

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

  • Outstanding communication and conflict management skills
  • Proficiency with current computer business applications
