Job Description

Responsibilities:

Provide support for the BASCC program within an assigned classroom and/or school setting, including but not limited to:

• Work with individual or small groups of students to assist in academic and social development

• Communicate with administrators, teachers and parents in evaluating student progress and/or implementing student social learning objectives

• Implement academic and social program structures as needed

• Maintain program equipment for instructional and social purposes

• Collect and utilize student data, as directed, to support student growth

• Develop and maintain a safe and caring classroom and school environment


Requirements:

• High school diploma, equivalent, or the ability to obtain diploma or equivalent within 12 months of employment

• Job related experience is preferred

• Experience working with students with multiple disabilities preferred

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Ability to maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders

• Ability to transfer to other sites based on District needs
