This position is responsible for working with the Operations Director to coordinate all production aspects for the Overlook Film Festival, including coordinating with venues, vendors, and product sponsors, supervising setup, decoration, and tear down of Festival Headquarters, and creating and coordinating staff workspaces and meals during the festival

This is a part-time contract position from February 2, 2026 - April 24, 2026 that will require longer hours in the weeks leading up to and during the festival.

Principal Duties:

• Work with Operations Director and venues to secure staff working space for the duration of the festival.
• Oversee and maintain staff workspace during the festival including securing the space each night before leaving.
• Work with Operations Director, Theater Operations, Box Office, Event Producer, Graphic Designer, Managing Director and Festival Director to ensure all printed materials and signage for the festival is created and distributed during the festival.
• Work with outside vendors to print all signage and badges for the festival.
• Work with Theater Operations and Operations Director to purchase and rent any needed supplies like tables, table clothes, rope and stanchions, poster stands, table signs, etc.
• Work with outside vendors to secure decorations for festival headquarters and oversee delivery, setup, and tear down.
• Assist Event Producer with load-in and load-out of equipment, decor and signage for events as needed.
• Coordinating with venues and outside vendors to provide staff meals and volunteer snacks during the festival dates.
• Work with Prytania Theatres to secure parking for staff during the festival.
• Work with Operations Director to plan pre-fest staff meeting and welcome event.
• Responding to info account emails on a daily basis.
• Provide on-site production assistance as needed for venues and festival staff.
• Report to and assist Operations Director as needed.

Position Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of production experience for small and medium-scale productions. Experience in production for film festivals is preferred.
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to work well on a team, take direction, demonstrate initiative and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Conflict management skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Microsoft and Google Products.
• Must be able to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to work around key deadlines and events. The 2026 Overlook Film Festival will take place April 9-12, 2026
• Must be based in the New Orleans area or have regular access to the city and venues of the festival.
