Job Description
We are seeking skilled Mental Health Group Facilitators to lead structured group sessions for individuals with offender backgrounds. The facilitator will deliver evidence-based interventions to promote behavioral change, emotional regulation, and a successful reintegration into the community. In-person environment.
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate groups on life skills, effective communication skills, relapse prevention, etc.; Document attendance, participation, and behavioral observations; Collaborate with primary therapist, case manager, and treatment team as necessary; Model pro-social behavior and maintain a safe, respectful group environment.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field (master's preferred); 2+ years' experience working with offender or high-risk populations; Licensure/certification (LPC, LCSW/LMHC, etc.) as required by state; Strong group facilitation, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention skills. MRT certification a plus.
