Position Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Director of Member Care to join our clinical operations team and help build an industry-defining text monitoring and navigation oversight of our member care department. This role will be instrumental in connecting referred clients with qualified behavioral health providers on the TPN.health platform. You will play a key role in enhancing the user experience, shaping the care navigation utility, and supporting our revenue-generating partners by ensuring timely, high-quality care placements.

This is an ideal opportunity for a licensed clinician with a passion for innovation, collaboration, and improving access to behavioral healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as oversight for incoming referrals who utilize text monitoring, completion of assessments, and verification of billing episodes. 
  • Conduct needs assessments using TPN.health’s proprietary tools and methodologies to match referrals with the most appropriate providers.
  • Oversee and Manage the end-to-end referral process with efficiency, empathy, and attention to detail
  • Oversee Care Navigation Manager and serve as primary contact for the care navigation department.
  • Track outcomes and maintain detailed reporting for internal and client-facing insights.
  • Collaborate closely with product development to refine care navigation functionality based on real-world insights and user feedback.
  • Provide input on workflow optimization and support scaling of the care navigation team and services.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership teams to ensure service excellence.
  • Actively contribute to internal meetings and cross-department initiatives to improve service delivery and platform experience.
  • Weekly meeting with Chief Experience Officer to ensure quality and congruent member experience with organizational mission and values. 
Qualifications

Education & Licensure:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, or equivalent. 
  • Active, unrestricted license as a clinical psychologist who participates or is willing to participate in PSYPACT.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical or behavioral health experience.
  • Demonstrated people skills—strong written and verbal communication, empathy, and cultural competence.
  • Proficient in using communication tools like Slack and productivity tools like Google Workspace.
  • Experience with digital health platforms or telehealth services preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Forward-thinking, self-starter with leadership potential.

Work Environment & Expectations
  • Full-Time, Salaried
  • Hybrid remote position with availability during business hours:
    Mon – Thurs: 8:00am–5:00pm CST | Fri: 8:00am–1:00pm CST
  • Occasional travel as required
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment

Location

This is a remote-first role, though TPN.health’s headquarters is located in the heart of New Orleans at 650 Poydras Street (accessible by streetcar, bike-friendly, parking available).
