Job Description

Education

  • Required - High School diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred - Associates or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration or related field

Work Experience

  • Required - 5 years of relevant work experience in HME, Healthcare, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
    • Will accept 3 years of relevant work experience and Bachelor's Degree in lieu of 5 years.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Excellent judgment, decision-making and delegating skills.
  • Good interpersonal and consultative skills to work effectively with all levels of employees, physician management, and business and support areas.
  • Strong computer knowledge of Word, Excel and HME Billing software.
  • Self-directed including the ability to work independently, set priorities and maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage within a budget and understand financial statements sufficient to analyze trends and make recommendations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.

Job Duties

  • Ensures quality of care & patient satisfaction.
  • Manages, develops, retains and inspires an engaged workforce.
  • Assists with research, education & training.
  • Ensures operational profitability with preliminary budgets, performance data, system reporting, and inventory management.
  • Supports long-term strategic business plans through department-specific business planning.
  • Manages the physical & technological infrastructure and supports organizational structures.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
