The LSUHSC Department of Family Medicine is seeking a Family Medicine physician for an academic faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track); rank to be commensurate with candidate’s credentials and experience.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Outpatient community-based clinical care with opportunities at multiple sites, including care of vulnerable patient populations.
• Supervision of medical students.

Other duties may include:

• Didactic teaching of residents and medical students.
• Contributing to departmental scholarly activity.
• Flexible duties may include other departmental services, such as behavioral health call, providing nursing home care, consultative care, hospital care, or community contracts.
