The Staff Scientist will assist/work on the project titled: “Human Endogenous Retroviral Sequences (HERVs) in the Development and Progression of human glioblastoma.”

The incumbent’s duties will include conducting basic and translational research using in-vivo and in-vitro models, performing:

• Cell cultures
• Molecular biology techniques
• RNA and protein isolation
• Phase contrast, fluorescence, and confocal microscopy
• Gene transfer using plasmid and viral vectors, including the CRISPR/Cas9 system and stable cell lines generation.

Successful candidates should have an interest in translational cancer research with a PhD or equivalent degree and must be able to work independently with high self-motivation.
