Job Description

Under direct supervision, an employee in this class performs water purification operations at an assigned water plant for the Sewerage and Water Board.

Work includes performing technical tasks in maintaining, adjusting, and monitoring activities such as:

  • Chemical flows
  • Pump operations
  • Sample testing

Work objectives are to provide safe drinking water to residents, industry, and the general public, and to maintain regulatory compliance with EPA regulatory standards concerning drinking water standards; and related work as directed.
