Your Role: Business Analyst I

The Business Systems Analyst supports the administration, configuration, maintenance, and integration of corporate business systems, such as ERP, CRM, and HRIS. Working closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams, the BSA will also assist with gathering requirements, documenting processes, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users across departments.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in maintaining and supporting core business systems (e.g., Deltek Vantagepoint ERP, HubSpot CRM, UKG HRIS, etc.)
• Support day-to-day user requests, issue resolution, and basic system administration tasks such as permissions and data entry validation
• Help gather, document, and analyze business requirements to identify system enhancements or process improvements
• Participate in testing new features, enhancements, or integrations to ensure system quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, Engineering, and Sales teams to learn how systems support their workflows and help identify improvement opportunities
• Contribute to maintaining system documentation, training materials, and process guides
• Support data quality reviews and assist in enforcing data governance standards
• Stay informed on system updates and help test and deploy them under the guidance of senior team members

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree)
• 1-3 years experience in a business analysis, data analysis, technology, or other systems support role
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic understanding of how data is structured and/or relational database models
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• System configuration experience in user roles and security, user interface enhancements, data model changes, workflows, reports, and dashboards
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint, HubSpot CRM, UKG HR, or similar ERP/CRM/HRIS platforms
• Experience working with data imports, reports, or integration tools
• Familiarity with software testing, requirements gathering, process documentation, or other IT change management functions
• Previous experience in engineering, utilities, or professional services industries
