The Department of Communication Disorders in the School of Allied Health Professions at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in New Orleans seeks a full-time, 12-month Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Clinician. This non-faculty position will be based on-site in the LSUHSC Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic in New Orleans.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct evaluation and treatment to pediatric and adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders in the LSUHSC Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic
• Conduct speech-language screenings and community-based evaluation and treatment in partner sites
• Provide clinical education and supervision to graduate SLP students in diagnostic and treatment settings, ensuring compliance with ASHA and CAA accreditation standards
• Assist in clinical operations, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of on- and off-site practicum experiences
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission of the department and ensure high-quality evidence-based clinical education and practice.
