Job Description

LSUHSC-NO invites applications for an Assistant Professor-Clinical in the master’s level, Counseling, CACREP program.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach graduate-level courses in the department.
  • Have the ability to create and maintain an active research and publication agenda.
  • Supervise master’s level students.
  • Maintain an active robust clinical caseload in the Counseling Department’s Child and Family Counseling Clinic (CFCC).

Commitment to the field of counseling must be evidenced by:

  • Graduate level teaching experience (in person and remotely).
  • Research and scholarly activity.
  • Clinical service.
  • Advocacy.
  • Holding professional counseling memberships, offices, or affiliations with counseling organizations.
