Job Description

Position Summary

This Louisiana Tumor Registry (LTR) position is required for registry routine operations and supported by federal funding from the NCi-SEER Program and CDC-NPCR Program. This incumbent is expected to participate in advanced registry activities, including assist in quality assurance and development of training and education materials. Incumbent will also be expected to participate in reliability studies requested by funding agencies. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience as an Oncology Data Specialist/Certified Tumor Registrar

Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS)

2 additional years of cancer registry experience as an ODS-C combined with an associate degree and ODS certification can substitute for the bachelor's degree
