Job Description

Performance Health is seeking an Associate Sales Consultant to join our team in a remote capacity, focused on the Atlanta North territory, which includes the northern suburbs of Atlanta. The Associate Sales Consultant will work closely with an experienced Field Sales Consultant to gain hands-on experience in the sales process, contribute to territory growth, and develop the skills necessary to independently manage a sales territory.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the business, conduct new product demonstrations, prospect for new business opportunities, and support the Field Sales Consultant in driving growth in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will prepare for a promotion to a full Field Sales Consultant role within two years by helping to establish and expand a new territory in the region.


Essential Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Consultant: Work alongside the Field Sales Consultant to develop and execute strategies aimed at driving significant growth in sales volume and market share within the assigned territory.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits to generate interest and secure initial commitments.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities to expand the customer base within the territory, including outreach and initial prospecting activities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Assist in managing client relationships by following up on leads and supporting sales presentations or negotiations as needed.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product positioning and sales tactics, supporting the creation of a new territory.
  • Ongoing Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training, shadowing, and mentorship opportunities to develop sales expertise and prepare for independent territory management within two years.
  • Sales Process & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, demo outcomes, and client interactions in the company’s CRM system, ensuring consistent follow-up and data accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Sales Interest: Strong interest in sales with a clear desire to grow into a full Field Sales Consultant role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients during product demonstrations and prospecting activities.
  • Proactive & Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to identify and act on new business opportunities with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Collaboration & Initiative: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking the initiative on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Remote Work: Ability to effectively work remotely, manage time, and prioritize tasks without requiring daily in-person oversight. Travel within the Atlanta North territory will be required, but no overnight travel is necessary.
