As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team and help keep our operations running smoothly. --- Position Overview The Data Entry Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining accurate records and organizing digital data for our editorial and administrative departments. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting. --- Key Responsibilities Enter, update, and verify data in company databases and systems. Maintain accuracy and integrity of digital records and files. Review data for errors, omissions, or inconsistencies and correct as needed. Assist with organizing publishing schedules, digital archives, and production logs. Generate simple reports and summaries for management. Communicate effectively with internal teams to clarify information and resolve discrepancies. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client data. --- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred). Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or clerical work. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent typing speed and accuracy. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Reliable internet connection and personal computer. --- Work Schedule Part-time, flexible hours (15–25 hours per week). Fully remote – work from anywhere within the State. --- Why Join Uptown Press?
