Job Description

Responsibilities:

·Coordinates with assigned lead and/or supervisor and other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently

·Transports a variety of items (classroom furniture, tables, chairs, tools, etc.) to and from schools, maintenance building, and the PLC

· Maintain vehicle tools and equipment to ensure safe operating condition

· Preforms skilled maintenance tasks for projects (furniture assembly, transporting and/or securing materials)

· Prepare written materials such as repair status activity logs, inventory documentation, etc… in order to convey information and request equipment needs for installation and /or repair functions

·Collaboratively work with team members to fulfill the mission, vision and beliefs of both the schools and the district


Requirements:

• High School diploma, equivalent, or the ability to obtain diploma or equivalent within 12 months of employment

• 2 years' experience in a maintenance program and construction experience

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, while maintaining attention to details

• Driver's License required

• Possess effective supervisory skills

• Must be willing to work overtime as needed

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
