Job Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master degree from an ALA accredited library or information science program

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years of library experience.

Proficiency using Integrated Library Systems, and discovery interfaces

Knowledge of the organization & description of library collections

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and with attention to detail

Interest in learning new tools and skills to support library services

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Strong technical skills, including experience with administration of integrated library systems & discovery systems

Ability to create and use complex spreadsheets

Knowledge of current trends & technologies related to library services

Ability to prioritize & organize complex workflows

Academic Library experience
