Job Description
Job Announcement: Executive Director, Non-Profit
The St Charles Center for Faith+Action announces an opening for its first Executive Director to provide administrative and programmatic leadership, help launch its first grant-funded program, collaborate with the Board, and lead the Center to financial stability.
The Center, founded in August, 2019 is intentionally inter-faith and works at the intersection of faith and social justice, convening people and communities of faith for conversation and collective action. The Center serves the greater New Orleans area and aspires to serve the region and nation.
Applicants with non-profit leadership experience, a passion for social justice and ability to work effectively with people and communities of faith/conscience are sought for this 80-100% time position, including 20% time as Associate Pastor or Community Engagement staff member at the St Charles Avenue Baptist Church.
