Clinical Operations Manager


The Position:

The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for the structure and operations of the Clinical Department.  This includes the curation of proprietary Continuing Education produced by TPN.health along with fulfilling partner contracts for courses and events developed under the approved TPN.health accreditations. Managing the clinical department and handling day to day operations to ensure company goals are being met.


Clinical Department Overview:

The Clinical Department is responsible for maintaining the ethical integrity of the TPN.health platform, including its network, features, and users. This encompasses oversight of the Continuing Education (CE) program, all related accreditation, user policies and procedures, as well as fostering relationships with clinicians and educators. The department's primary function is to oversee the educational output, working closely with team members to identify and address any gaps in execution and to streamline the education delivery process.

Additionally, the Clinical Department manages the identification, sourcing, and coordination of external CE speakers for TPN.health events. The Director will lead this initiative, with support from both internal and external clinical resources.



Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects within the department, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Regularly evaluate employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement development plans to foster growth and improvement.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Participates in the development, drafting, proofreading, editing, review, and implementation of user policies and procedures.
  • Manages the clinical dimension of the TPN.health CE program.
    • Monitors and reviews the standards of credentialing associations.
    • Reviews proposed CE events for compliance with the above standards.
    • Provides final approval for CE events.
    • Oversees the renewal process for credentialing.
    • Oversees the development and maintenance of all credentialing records and the audit response process.
  • Reviews evaluation responses to determine the quality of CE events and educators.
    • Submits regular reports to necessary TPN.health staff.
  • Maintains and updates the database of interstitial licensing requirements, scopes of practice, and pertinent laws & regulations.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of policy regarding user onboarding.


Skills:

  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ethics and the intersections of law, ethics, and clinical practice.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the role and applicability of continuing education to sound clinical practice. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technological solutions quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Google Suite.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve ethical dilemmas.


Education and Experience:

  • A graduate degree in a behavioral health profession (ex. Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology).
  • A valid Behavioral/Mental Health license in good standing with the relevant licensing board.
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience in policy review, quality assurance, or related duties.
