Job Description
Pay Rate: $12.25 an hour
Job Description:
The Houseperson job is to support the Housekeeping team, ensuring that the closets are stocked, the floors assigned are vacuumed, taking out the dirty linen and trash from the rooms, removing the garbage from the floors to the garbage disposal, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Ensure Housekeeping departmental standards are followed
• Assist Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Maintain inventory in the Housekeeping closets
• Respond timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items i.e.: cribs, cots, extra towels etc.
• Collect dirty linen, garbage and recyclables from Room Attendants’ carts and closets
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Report necessary maintenance items
