Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for organizing marketing initiatives from beginning to end to ensure efficient project management and seamless execution for the Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts brand. The marketing coordinator stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
· Ability to transform deadlines into coordinated production schedules
· Work with creative team members, sales, marketing, and various business units to develop and execute effective production schedules including assigning tasks, implementing campaign elements, managing budget, and ensuring brand standards are upheld
· Responsible for fostering relationships with media vendors
· Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications
· Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
· Support the marketing department by scheduling and organizing the creation of digital content
· Work with the graphic design team to help deliver content that meets client specifications
· Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables amongst Digital, Creative and Business Development teams
· Maintain department production standards
· Ability to participate and work evenings & weekend events as needed
· Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
· Experience in marketing, communications, business, or other related fields
· Microsoft Suite
· Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
· Great communication skills and ability to think on your feet
· Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
· Availability to participate and work evenings & weekend events as needed
· Ability to speak in front of large audiences comfortably
Preferred
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Marketing/Sales/Retail experience
· Restaurant industry experience
