Job Description
Imaginal Marketing is looking for part-time paid interns to work with our copywriting and social media teams. We are a busy agency specializing in the beauty industry, so candidates who are into hair, makeup, fashion, and wellness have an edge.
Job Duties—you'll get real-world experience in:
- Helping to manage client accounts on Facebook and Instagram
- Assisting social media managers with monthly results reports, research, organization, and content development
- Long-form writing such as blog posts, website copy, promotions, marketing collateral, and more
- Proofreading
Ideal candidates are:
- Team players who care deeply about their work
- Friendly and positive, hard-working, detail-oriented, great sense of humor a must
- Undergraduate juniors or seniors majoring in Communications, Social Media, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field
- Enthusiastic about social media trends and building brands on social platforms
- Wordsmiths eager to learn how to write effective marketing copy
We are a group of talented and creative marketing pros dedicated to delivering amazing results for our clients. We have a "work hard, play hard" philosophy. Imaginal Marketing has won numerous local and national advertising awards for our thoughtful and creative work. Our office environment is fast-paced but casual, located near City Park on the streetcar line. (Currently, we’re still working remotely, so you’ll be working from home for now!)
Salary is $10 per hour. Hours can be customized to work with your schedule, but 15-20 hours per week is ideal. We will give higher consideration to students looking for longer-term internships (2 semesters and/or summer or winter breaks). We highly encourage recent graduates or students who are graduating soon looking for a role they can grow in; we've hired our three past interns in full-time positions and are looking to expand our team!
