Job Description
Trumpet is a New Orleans based advertising agency working with marketing and leadership teams that believe purpose driven organizations are far more effective than those simply making and selling products. Analytics is the means to understand the impact of such a belief. This can be applied internally to measure impact of company culture, externally to measure effectiveness of communications, or where they meet in the customer experience of a brand. While this position is primarily focused on performance and optimization of external communications through media, it is also connected to an analytical understanding of internal culture and external trends.
We are looking for a Digital Analytics Strategist whom is passionate about creating actionable insights and optimizations from data. This person is someone who learns from and optimizes campaigns utilizing paid search, SEO, digital display, paid social. While this person is detail-oriented and results focused, they are also capable of seeing the bigger picture beyond immediate details. You can effectively
- work with clients, strategists, and digital teams to develop KPIs from insightful understanding of business goals.
- establish correlations between leading indicators and lagging actions that drive client business and propose specific inputs that will measurably impact outcomes.
- aggregate data from various media platforms and sources to analyze performance of individual tactics and collective strategies.
- generate insights and identify opportunities for improvement and experimentation.
Day to day, you will
- interact with strategists, media planners and media buyers to architect and develop analytics programs.
- develop and maintain media performance dashboards and insights reports
- use strong communication skills with diverse audiences at all levels of the organization – internal and external to review and discuss trends, insights, and recommendations.
- analyze large data sets to uncover trends and areas for campaign optimization.
- use analysis to inform audience understanding, messaging and content opportunities
- update creative teams with constructive information about measurable reactions to content.
You are:
- A motivated, energetic and passionate individual driven to constantly improve and hold a team accountable for results.
- A proactive self-starter who is able to work well independently, and as part of a larger team.
- 1-4 years into data/analytics experience as a primary job function. Preferably analyzing digital marketing efforts (e.g. Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Business Manager, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
- proficient in visualizing information using analytical tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Domo, etc.)
