Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide support for the instructional program within an assigned classroom and/or school setting, including but not limited to:
- Work with individual or small groups of students to assist in academic and social development
- Communicate with administrators, teachers and parents in evaluating student progress and/or implementing student learning objectives
- Implement instructional lessons as needed
- Maintain classroom equipment for instructional purposes
- Collect and utilize student data, as directed, to support student growth
- Develop and maintain a safe and caring classroom and school environment
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent, or the ability to obtain diploma or equivalent within 12 months of employment
- Job related experience is preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders

St. Charles Parish Public Schools has been at the forefront of education and a leader among public schools in Louisiana since the mid 1970’s. Led by Superintendent Dr. Kenneth W.
