JeffCare, a program of Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority, is a Federally Qualified Health Center with two sites in Metairie and Marrero. This position requires no on-call, evening or weekend work, offers a generous benefits package, and is located in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area in Marrero.

Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Provide crisis intervention and management for patients in acute distress
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support patients with behavioral challenges
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including coding for billing purposes

Requirements:
- Registration as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana

- US Work Authorization
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and their application in clinical practice
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and strategies
- Strong crisis management skills to effectively handle emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries
- Understanding of special education services and resources for patients with developmental disabilities

Pay: $59,066.35 - $71,133.66 per year
