Intralox, L.L.C. a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services is seeking a highly motivated and self-managed individual to work as a Material Handler in its Modular Plastic Belt Assembly Operation. As a key member of the Order Fulfillment group, the Material Handler will be responsible for organizing inbound / outbound workflow and executing tasks that facilitate material movement for Assembly shift start-up, preparing finished belting, packaging belting for storage, addressing part availability needs, and delivering finished goods to the warehouse. In addition, you will learn and support conveyor belt building tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential physical job requirements which include lifting 25 lbs. to 60 lbs. regularly and 60+ lbs. occasionally.
• Diligent and self-managed team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Solid math and computer skills
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to travel to Harahan Corporate facility for the initial training period and periodically for refresher training (Travel compensation provided)

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating a fork-lift or pallet jack a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle and/or Kewill operating systems.
• Prior experience with air tools including nail gun.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
