Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests and document results
• • Build and test modular belts and components
  • Execute product performance and application tests
  • Prepare samples and run material property tests
• Assemble mechanical devices such as new test equipment
• Maintain devices and machines including existing test equipment
• Maintain workshop and test areas including the enforcement of housekeeping standards
• Provide workshop safety training (saws, drill press, belt sander, etc.)
• Provide training on the operation of test equipment as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a mechanical/electromechanical trade such as auto, aircraft, or industrial machinery mechanic, installation, or field service technician, etc.
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and good analytical skills
• Basic mechanical expertise, advanced skills preferred
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, drives, and PLCs preferred
• Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely and be able to work outside at times
• Willingness to travel on occasion (10% of the time or less) - customers site visits, training, installations, etc.
