Job Description

Line Cook – Part-Time

We’re looking for a Line Cook who can bring both skill and speed to our kitchen! This role focuses on preparing our signature cheesesteaks to order, maintaining a clean and organized prep station, and handling some daily prep tasks throughout the shift. If you take pride in quality, efficiency, and teamwork, you’ll fit right in.

What We Offer:

  • Starting pay: $16/hr + tip pool (average total $21–$25/hr)
  • 401(k) with 3% match after 90 days
  • Paid training (4 shifts to complete before final employment)
  • Part-time position, weekend availability required. 34 working hours available.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in restaurant kitchens, with griddle/flat top experience preferred
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • A great communicator who works well with others
  • Focused on cleanliness, food safety, and consistency in every order
  • Comfortable working on a line by yourself with one to two other people on shift

Requirements:

  • Prior restaurant experience and two references
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask accurately and efficiently
  • Punctual, responsible, and a true team player
  • Knowledge of Louisiana food safety standards
