Job Description

TIME FRAME: This is a short term, seasonal position.

April 21 to May 7, 2025


POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Assistant plays a vital role in supporting daily operations, encompassing inventory management, booth setup logistics, and sales monitoring.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist the Strawberry Lemonade Operations Manager in all facets of daily SBL operations.
  • Aid in the setup and breakdown of booths.
  • Organize inventory according to Manager's guidelines.
  • Maintain stock levels and replenish inventory at booths as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory distribution using approved departmental methods and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Using the Absentee Request Form, it is the responsibility of each employee and their supervisor to accurately report their absenteeism to the Festival Finance Office.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
  • Give any document, computer program, design, or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival (and, therefore, belonging to the Jazz Festival) to the Festival through your
  • supervisor or department head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
  • Attend and complete any required training.
  • Complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports.
  • Must attend and complete any required training.
  • Perform all other work-related duties, as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Previous production experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment, regardless of weather conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word is required.
  • Basic understanding of accounting procedures.
  • Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
