Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our membership and promotions committees and assist on special projects, like the creation of an historical walking tour. Your insightful contribution will help expand and maintain our marketing channels.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a part-time intern whose responsibilities include:

  • Manage the organization’s social media accounts, to include posting, campaign creation and outcomes analysis
  • Manage the newsletters and all e-blasts
  • Manage and update OCHBMBA database
  • Make maintenance updates to the website
  • Coordinate the development of the online Boulevard history/walking tour
  • Help organize marketing/networking events
  • Support the membership and promotions committee in administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Strong desire to learn, along with professional drive
  • Ability to take instruction and manage multiple projects
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with MailChimp, Squarespace, and social media platforms
  • Ability to work well independently

Schedule: Six to 10 hours per week, remote work

Pay: $15 per hour
