MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receive calls and disseminate event related information to staff to ensure efficient operations. 

• Receive calls via radio and maintain a log of such communications.

• Disseminate information to event management as it is received.

• Follow up on the completion of requests and relay any issues to event management.

• Submit work orders for maintenance requests.

• Attend meetings with various departments to ensure Facility Operations team is up to date with current and future events.

• Keep record of all Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR logs and requests.

Inspect areas related to event setups and building cleanliness to ensure successful events and operations. 

• Ensure that set up of required chairs, tables, stages and risers for meeting rooms and general sessions meet client specifications.

• Monitor and inspect the general cleanliness of the facility.

• Communicate status and any discrepancies in setups to event management.

Assist Facility Services and Environmental staff with departmental tasks as needed. 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Other Skills and Abilities

Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, perform under minimal supervision and work irregular/extended hours as necessary including nights, weekends and holidays.

Maintain a high emphasis on customer service and possess excellent communication skills.

Safe and proper working knowledge of personal lifts, forklifts, and sweeping/scrubbing equipment.
