Job Description

Salary:

  • $63,000-$84,840
  • $2500 Sign-On Stipend To Be Paid in October, If Hired by September 30th

Work Duration: 

  • 183 Days
  • 7.5 hours / day

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential, including but not limited to:

  • Setting rigorous yet appropriate learning outcomes
  • Establishing supportive relationships with students
  • Engaging students in meaningful, developmentally appropriate, real world discussions and learning activities
  • Developing authentic and aligned assessments to measure student growth and inform instructional decisions
  • Collaboratively work with team members to fulfill the mission, vision and beliefs of both the school and the district
  • Serve as an ambassador of St. Charles Parish Public Schools through all forms of professional communication 

Certification / Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
  • Must be Louisiana certified; type `A,' `B' OR `C' - OR- LEVEL 1, 2 OR 3
  • English 6-12 certified
