Job Summary:

The Senior Network Engineer will assist in the day-to-day functionality of the Network while providing analysis, troubleshooting, and communication with the network team. In addition, they will augment the Network Operations Center (NOC) in real-time support of our Global Network Infrastructure.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in efforts of the design, testing and implementation of new systems architecture
  • Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure systems stay operational (support during an outage)
  • Prepare client documentation including network designs, network assessments, implementation plans, and post-implementation documentation
  • Follow up with client, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Keep apprised of patches, latest technologies, and upcoming infrastructure installations
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Research new technologies

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Shift work and on call required

Education and Experience:

  • Three (3) plus years of related experience required
  • Active CCIE required
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field is preferred
  • Extensive experience in the following:
    • ASA
    • Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) including configuration, and troubleshooting
    • Packet Capture

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
