Responsibilities:

• Build upon a library of high quality prompting strategies to accomplish a variety of tasks for citizens
• Iterate, reinvent, and constantly refine agents to leverage the models’ strengths now and into the future

You may be a good fit if you:

• Have 3-5 years of relevant or transferrable experience. We all know this is a brand new field, so you tell us what makes your experience relevant.
• Everyone thinks they are good at querying ChatGPT. What do you know about agents? Tell us something you learned that other people don’t seem to know. 
• Possess a solid understanding of the architecture and functionality of large language models.
• Bring a creative, problem-solving mindset and a passion for tackling complex challenges.
• Programming experience:
• • Working knowledge of traditional programming (Python is critical - others a plus), but with a wider range of thinking than merely deterministic systems
  • You can get your way around traditional code, know data relationships and know why it all works. But are into (and can speak to) probabilistic systems and…
  • Ideal candidate has formal programming training and light experience on the job, but not so much they are stuck in the old ways of the last few decades of software. Know the past. Invent the future. 
• Automated testing / unit testing experience

Logistics: 

This is an in-office position in the city of New Orleans (Central Business District). At least 4 days a week required in person.
