Earth Odyssey, a busy jewelry & crystal shop in the French Quarter, is seeking an experienced sales person to join our team. We are all about hard work and getting rewarded! Duties will include achieving sales goals, providing outstanding customer service, merchandising, maintaining inventory and assisting with duties assigned by management.  We focus on self-improvement and development at all stages and a willingness to continually learn, improve and grow both personally and professionally is required. Our main values are knowledge and honesty and we are seeking someone who values the same.

All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

* Minimum of 2 years sales/customer service experience
* Willingness and ability to meet and exceed set sales goals
* Exceptional communication skills when interacting with diverse groups of people
* Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and follow through on projects
* Reliable transportation to and from work
* Available evenings, weekends and most holidays for full time 
* A strong desire to learn about crystals, metaphysics, psychic readings and related holistic wellness topics
* Ability to stand for 6-7 hours per day and lift at least 25 lbs (some of our inventory is heavy)

Compensation is hourly based on experience plus a monthly bonus based on team sales achievements. Sales team members earn indiviudal tips as well.
